we never had such fancy ice creams where I came from, now in Vancouver, I just get nervous and chose vanilla, when presented with the oppertunity to eat "green tea" icecream and I usualy throw the vinilla away anyway. It's too good for me and it knows... it knows.

Hi there.
I'm just wondering if Dale and David are still doing Tile Comics?
I ask because I'd like to submit one.
Also, I ask because I like them and they are enjoyable to be read.

Doesn't seem like it!

But you should definitely give it a try. Why not?

I demand a colourful and topical news post declaring the state of the tile comics. Why would they register tilecomics.com? Hmm, Schrodinger's webcomic. they enjoy making art squirm.

I've given up on Tile Comics, myself... it's a fantastic idea, but the boys seem intent on letting it languish!

I recommend you push your creative energies into developing your own comics! Can you draw? Need a website?

we could always start a thread on here where we posted our tile comics! hypothetically called something like "user-created tile comics"! unless this was something dale and / or david did not want us to do!

i was relatively happy with mine! relatively!

I honestly see the Tile Comics as a good gimmick rather than a full fledged good idea. I think after the novelty wore off, D&D probably just got tired of doing them.

Then again, I called Dinosaur Comics a gimmick and I have since eaten those words.

Why don't we, the forum, purchase the rights to Tile Comics from D&D and angle it in the veins of Whispered Apologies?

And if we decide to Wall Street it, I call Charlie Scheen.

Hey, don't talk about purchasing until we've exhausted all begging avenues

Well, I actually asked about that, at the very beginning... I had made a few tile comics because I liked the idea. David asked me not to post them on the forum, and then he put them up as real tile comics! They posted 2 of the 8 I sent in, and I've since turned 2 of the remaining 6 into scripts for Perfect Stars. There's still 4 left that need a home!

It's hard to say what they'd prefer now, but since Tile Comics is dead I think all bets are off. If you post them here, Dale or David can always remove them if it makes them unhappy.

Or, if you like, send them to me and I'll see if they're good enough for Perfect Stars. How about that?

I sent an Electronic Mail a couple weeks ago, but there was no response.
This may mean that they have decided not to continue Tilecomics, or it may mean that nobody on The Internet ever responds to my Emails anyways.

I am not personally aware of any one (1) specific program for the purpose of constructing Tile Comics. Mine was built by first saving individual tiles onto my hard drive and then arranging them on a black-background field in MS Paint. Newbs went the extra mile and made his look professical. There isn't a "size requirement" formally, though the harder your comic is to easily read the harder it is for people to finish. You're free to share any you make with the community. We've started doing this already in the Tile Comic's Thread.

Oh, it's also an informal rule that you have to work on it naked in front of a webcam.
